Membership

Crackerjacks is a volunteer organization and our members are expected to share the work that makes the organization grow and the events safe and successful. We hope that you'll spend an hour or more helping out at each shoot. Clean-up is always a big job and "many hands make light work", once a year join the dedicated crew that keeps us welcome guests at our shoot sites. In addition, there are a number of other tasks that need to be attended to and that the club could use your help with.

Most of our members are located in and club activities take place in the Mid-Atlantic Region (Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania). Our shoots are typically held in northern Virginia.

    • Open shooting of Class B & C fireworks

Thinking about Joining?

Eligibility - To join you must be 18 years of age, submit a complete membership application along with your annual dues and initiation fee and be interviewed by the membership committee.

Your membership includes you and your family. Your family includes your spouse or significant other and your children under the age of 21.

Guests:

Members may bring guests to club shoots but, someone may only attend once as a guest before they must join. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests. Guests MUST be brought by a member; un-solicited guests are not permitted onsite.

Fees:

  • Annual dues - $150.00 include:
    • attendance at the clubs three shoots and winter meeting
    • the clubs insurance
    • Afterglow
    • partial funding for the Main Display
  • Initiation fee - $100.00:
    • New members must pay the fee
    • Members whose dues were not paid by March 1st must pay the fee
  • Guests - Fees:
    • $50.00 per person in advance
    • $60.00 at the gate (Gate is only manned from 10:00am to noon)
